How To Tell If Your Sat Nav Hates You.

I’m sure many of you are scratching your heads thinking… Sat navs don’t have feelings and ordinarily, I’d agree. However, while on my honeymoon I changed my mind.

You see, while on holiday in Cornwall, it became abundantly clear that our sat nav really doesn’t like us. Either that or it’s possessed. (the jury is still out on that one)

Whether this is a personal thing, or we just missed a turn one too many times, I’m not sure. (personally I think the husband missing turn offs just made her eventually snap)

Anyway, it became clear to us quite quickly that she was on a mission to send us anywhere but where we wished to go.

The first thing that gave it away was when she told us to turn right…. Off the side of a bridge.

Yes, she actually wanted us to go through a brick wall off a bridge. From there it escalated to sending us the wrong way up a one way street, telling us to drive through bollards and getting us stuck in a field.

If it was just one occurance, I could put it down to a random fault but quite frankly she made a few too many mistakes for comfort so I have come to the only logical conclusion.

The sat nav is trying to kill us!

In all honesty, I’ve never liked the sound of her voice anyway and now I know why. Deep down she despises us for every time we caused her to recalculate the route.

So, as she silently plots our demise, we drive in fear wondering what she will do next.

Send us in to a lake, or perhaps, the wrong way down the motorway?

All I know is I no longer trust her. Every new journey brings with it fear of the unknown and our impending doom.

All we can do is wait and see who will be the victor, man or machine.

(My money is on the machine since I’ve seen my husband’s driving)
